Delving Deeper

The Evolution of An Emojified Guessing Game

About a year ago Bruce’s mother-in-law was anxiously pacing back in forth in the hospital waiting room hoping for good news (thankfully she got it!). To provide a distraction during that stressful time, Bruce and his wife took turns emojifiying TV shows and movies and sending them over to her via iMessage to pass the time. They all found it wildly entertaining, and an excellent and easy way to be creative. Since then, this idea has been in the back of Bruce’s mind just screaming to be officially turned into the game and thus, Cinemoji was born.

Now a Game Anyone Can Play

More fun when you work in tandem with friends and encourage them to guess the right answer, Cinemoji plays into today’s emoji craze and is perfect in non-committal short stints or full-on Cinemoji marathons. You’ve likely seen other people tweet, blog, and post articles about turning a movie or TV show into emojis but now, for the first time, it’s a game that anyone can play.
